Your donation to the United Way allows you to take advantage of a tax deduction provided for by federal legislation (against both provincial & federal tax payable.
For donations up to $200 you receive a minimum 27% tax deduction. In addition, on donation amounts above $200, you receive a minimum of 47% tax deduction on the amount above $200.
