The United Way Community Development Resources (UWCDR) is a flexible, low-cost consulting, training and information service designed specifically for the not-for-profit, voluntary social service sector. We assist Board members, Executive Directors, staff and volunteers in developing the knowledge, skills and tools they need to become effective leaders. Furthermore, our services support leadership volunteers and staff with not-for-profit board and management techniques and strategies to improve their service delivery and community development. It is available to all not-for-profit and charitable organizations within the Region of Durham.
